Clothing
In the fall, your primary concern should be staying comfortable while ensuring you stay warm and dry while hunting in different conditions. September normally doesn’t get below freezing temps but we occasionally get rain or heavy wind. October and later can see severely reduced temperatures. Please wear muck style or hunting boots and appropriate layers. Remember, you can always take layers off. Staying hidden is also a concern with clothing choice so please dress in natural colors and leave the bright colors at home.
In the spring, your primary concern should be staying comfortable by ensuring you stay warm and dry (or cool later in the season) while hunting in different conditions. In April, it is not uncommon to see temperatures near or below freezing, while late May and June can see temperatures in excess of 80°. Please wear muck style or hunting boots and appropriate layers.
Remember, you can always take layers off. Staying hidden is also a concern with clothing
choice so please dress in natural colors and leave the bright colors at home.

Tipping and Gratuities
Gratuity is NOT included in our pricing. Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.
Within the hunting industry, a 20-30% tip is considered standard of a job well done. Overall, it is good to know that tips are customary and very much appreciated by any guide who is working hard to make your experience the best it can possibly be.
Are Client Dogs Allowed?
Here at GLGO, safety is our first priority and that goes for our four legged friends as well. Full parties will be welcome to bring dogs, however we have a no breaking policy. If a full party would like to bring a dog on the hunt, the dog should be able to wait until shooting concludes and be signaled to retrieve birds. Client dogs will be required to wear a safety harness system. If a dog can not adhere to these requirements, they will not be allowed in the field due to safety concerns.
